Your Timeless Experience

1. The Intake Session

From the outset, our interviewers take the time to listen. Before the memoir process begins, we meet with you (virtually at this time) to discuss your vision for the book, and specify how you wish to engage with us. This helps us ensure that we provide the experience you desire, and an outcome you will cherish. The intake process is free of any charges. Following this session, you will receive a quote for your project.

2. Interviewing

We are highly-trained interviewers who each have over 35 years of conducting research with individuals. We uncover and bring to life stories that capture their true essence and that of the world in which they’ve lived. We are not only master story tellers but trained gerontologists who work magic with those over 60. We conduct all interviews – whether they are one-on-one or in a group — with warmth, empathy, dedication and professionalism. While most individuals engage in a series of 10-12 1-hour interviews for their Timeless book, the interview length can be tailored to fit the needs and desires of the individual.

3. Research

Our research methodology is designed to unearth memories both vivid and vague from our subject, family, friends and, when requested, co-workers. We work alongside you to uncover the perfect photographs, stories, achievements and most important memories you wish to share. Our experts can also help you to identify special images and graphics that embellish the story you wish to relate.

4. Storytelling

Now your story is complete, we will create a master document with all the words and images in place. We will help you review, revise and refine what will become the final content of your Timeless book. It is at this stage that additional requests can be made; for example, you may wish to change the paper stock or your binding choices.

5. Design

Once the interviews are over and your story is complete, we will sit down with you to confirm exactly how you would like your story told. (This happens during the intake session, but sometimes people wish to tweak things.)
We will create a master document with all the words and images in place, and help you review, revise and refine what will become the final content of your Timeless book. You may prefer a chronological perspective or sections based on key moments, the lessons learned and the messages or mantras you wish to share with future generations. It is at this stage that additional requests can be made; for example, you may wish to change the paper stock or your binding choices.

6. Delivery

Once the Timeless interviewing service is commissioned, you will receive a final timeline for the completion of your book. If necessary, we will notify you of any changes or delays, and provide the reasons for this as well as information about updated delivery. Your book will arrive exactly as you have requested, and you can also choose a special presentation case of your choice.
